Operating 20 production divisions and 11 research and design centers across India, HAL is the sole domestic producer of fixed-wing combat aircraft, attack helicopters, and aero-engines for the Indian Armed Forces.

MANUFACTURING & INDUSTRIAL FOOTPRINT

HAL operates state-of-the-art production lines capable of manufacturing 24 Tejas fighters annually, alongside dedicated helicopter facilities in Tumakuru producing Prachand LCH and ALH Dhruv. HAL also manufactures advanced Sukhoi Su-30MKI airframes, AL-31FP and Shakti engines, and aerospace structures for ISRO space launch vehicles.
